I am a multimedia artist and have been doing art all of my life. I work with paints, graphic arts, pastels, clay, pen & ink, draw and write to name a few things. My business name is WhiteOak Art Designs. I am very much a Nature person. I believe that the inspiration for my artwork comes directly from Nature. There is so much sadness in life today and with everyone working so hard to make ends meet, sometimes the beauty in life is overlooked. I know that selling my artwork is important, that is what I do for a living, but when I speak to people who have purchased a piece of my art, and the reactions I get, can never be compared to the monitary value. One of things I create is "Inspirational Faeries and Angels." I have a page posted on my website that is dedicated to adoptions (people who purchased a faerie). Some of the stories are unbelievable. Many I have not posted because they called me and told me the stories. I have had comments from very high professional women about my faeries. I always tell everyone the same thing, the girls are magick and know where they want to be. I won my first award last year in a huge Art Exhibition here in Georgia. I was so proud that someone picked one of my pictures for an award, I was beyond overwhelmed. What excited me the most (and I am not saying I did not appreciate the money) was the fact someone felt and/or seen something in my picture that touched them the way it touched me. Always, remember..."Life is filled with magick, if we allow our eyes to see it!"
